Originally from McMinnville, Oregon, Caitlin White grew up in the heart of the Willamette Valley and Oregon wine country. Wine is one of the many subjects she’s covered during her career as a lifestyle reporter and editor with over a decade of experience. She attended Pepperdine University and earned undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Advertising, as well as a graduate degree in Mass Communication.
After college she moved to New York and began working as a music journalist, landing full-time roles and bylines at publications like Complex, VICE, Billboard, MTV News, Stereogum, and Brooklyn Magazine. Later, she moved back to LA to serve as an Editorial Director at Uproxx, a position she held for three years.
Starting in 2019, Caitlin was the primary contributor to InsideHook LA covering food, drink and travel for four years. Currently, she writes for publications like The Telegraph, Plate Magazine, Found LA, Forbes Vetted and Santa Barbara Magazine. Along with editorial work Caitlin is available for copywriting and editing, editorial strategy and ghostwriting.
